I’m just saying they have improved on what they already had. Will be a very tough game and can see them challenging for the title this season.
You're quite right and there's a very simple reason for that as you probably already know. L1 players aren't consistent so there are games when they gel and it all goes to plan ... ... and other games when a couple, or more, players have an off day. That's 20% of your outfield team and affects everyone around them. If your 'bad day' coincides with the bottom team's good day you can be turned over. Hopefully Sunderland aren't the big scalp anymore so our superiority should win out more often than not.
Just when I was being told how we've failed to prepare unlike Wigan ..... "Take a point. Our lot will be bang up for it mind, but defensively I think we'll struggle having failed to sign an experienced CB to line up next to Whatmough. Having to start either Long or Carragher infront of 30k fans with McGeady floating balls into the box is a huge ask for them." Perhaps one of their left backs can fill in
I think that's just home fans as it says "home capacity". Not sure how many away tickets sold but that could mean over 40k there if we sell out (which I don't think we will)
That E-Ticketing site we are using is horrible. I've just been on to gauge roughly how many have gone for Wigan and out of interest I tried to add a ticket to my basket. It's impossible! The zooming in and navigation is terrible considering it's Ticketmaster and that's all they do. Really poor and needs sorting
Can tell they haven’t been to a game for a few years. They will go back to their usual 150 when the novelty has worn off.
Buzzing for Saturday now. It’ll be a tough game but we’ve done well in pre-season. Into them early doors, get Embleton on the ball as much as possible.
