I though this was a thread about John Terry meeting his team mates wives.

    We've
We've already freed up £1.4m a month in wages so not really that great. We're down to Wilson and @Dorty Dogbreath s favourite nufc player as strikers.

Getting out the deadwood slowly but surely. That we now having to mutually agree free's is a damning assessment of the scouting team/regimes that signed them.

Saivet, Muto, and Lazaar are nothing short of shocking purchases. No excuses to be honest. For the money we paid we may as well not have bothered and simply added the money/wages to some money we paid for another sub standard player, and simply bought one half decent one for the amount they've played.

The clubs method changed after we signed Almiron.

Now we search for one marquee signing that excites the place as opposed to raw numbers.

We just happened to snatch up a ton of free players alongside Wilson last time

I'd prefer it that way. I realise Rafa was a numbers man, liked a lot of players. For the fans I prefer Bruce or Pardew's approach. Buy better players and risk your level dropping off when you get injuries. Obviously that isn't ideal but we are ****ed because we won't fund a strong squad of quality.

Rumours of a swap deal between Tom Davies and Sean Longstaff.

I hear @Roy Munson and @Warm Pouch are now in a quandary

I could see Bruce going for that. I know Longstaff hasn't been brilliant but he's better than than scruffy looking little knacker

I hope not. There is a player in Longstaff who e didnt see much of last year. Tom Davies is another Hendrick. Runs around a lot but doesnt contribute much.

Really? Longstaff (under a half decent manager) is far superior to Tom 'Milan' Davies

I think they are much alike: I don’t actually rate Longstaff that much. I think he’s slow.

Tom Davies has a bit of steel about him. And is more mobile.

    Just my opinion!

More mobile and more pace yes. But technically nowhere near Longstaff's level.

Also if this is true and Rafa wants him and not Davies I know who I would be going with <laugh>
