Haha ya right ! I’m sick of them. It was posted by the Sunderland A.F.C. news and banter page on Facebook and one of the first comments was “Can you handle more than 9,000 fans this time! Last Friday was a disgrace!” I just can’t help but reply to some of these and tell them to get over it.

2019/20 season card holders now won't be receiving a new card, their old on will work. Chris Waters said yesterday they would be getting new cards, despite initially saying their existing cards would work. They have gone back to the original information (thankfully for me and the family)

Aye just seen that. ****ing confusing as owt - my son received a new SC yesterday, so which one does he use?

This smacks of Chris Water s doing everything on his own and making the sort of basic errors people make when they are too damn busy

What scenario does he fit into? Moved seats? New age bracket etc? If so, he would use the new one.

2019/20 ST holders that did or didn't renew for last year and then did for this season can use old card, unless they move seat or change age bracket then they use new card if received. :emoticon-0148-yes:

However, I'd take them both if I was him. <laugh>

Neither of us renewed last season. Same seats. No other changes.

Same here, old card should work and shouldn't have needed a new card issuing as far as I can tell. Definitely take them both. See if you get one today? My postie doesn't arrive until later on so I'll see what happens.

Worth highlighting that they expect over 30k as well which is a great turnout. Charlton at home in the first league one campaign was 31,075 so looks like we will beat that.

Looking at the seating plan, I’m surprised they’re expecting over 30K, tbh. Hopefully there’s plenty sold between now and before kick off. The ticket office being open certainly helps.

Good money getting the stadium spray cleaned and painted too.

    All good stuff.
