If he believes that he is sadly misinformed. Adams yes. Obafemi as a back up option. Redmond no. Long couldn't cut it in the Championship last season.....
I don't think that he ever had any intention of investing in the club. It was a vehicle for him to move money out of the country (a sensible thing to do when you've been on the radar of the authorities twice for a capital crime) and then sell on, hopefully with a bit of profit. That hasn't come to pass, and with much of his fortune having evaporated he can ill afford to take a significant loss on a sale. And taking money out of the club is a net loss, too, because it would almost certainly get us relegated, and a Championship team with mounting debt wouldn't sell for much. So he's just sitting and waiting for someone to meet his valuation, but the midst of a pandemic is a tough time to find someone willing to pay over the odds for a club that has flirted with the drop zone repeatedly in recent years.
It's not unfortunately. Rumour has it that it was put down for carrying the disease of Covid-18. On a serious note, the fact stuff about us is still up there almost a year on speaks volumes. It's almost as if it was a shell of a company for one purpose only.
If the alternative timeline here is that we’re brought by a bigger billionaire than all the other billionaires and that enabled us to have the final career seasons of Danny Ings then no ****ing thanks. This is so much more interesting. I love this bit. If seeing our best performing players leaving induces so much fury then why do people do this? I don’t think I’ll ever get it. I'm really not seeing that much fury - in fact I'm actually pretty disappointed tbh. Those 4 cans of San Miguel were a waste of a bluey. Might have to nip over to Saintsweb.
This is me - no fury, actually really disappointed in Danny. And as someone who has a daughter older than him, I can say that.
I meant I'm not seeing much fury on here and that's what's disappointed me From my POV this is actually good news. Just need to sign David McGoldrick as his replacement and I'll really start to get excited.
Think the summer of 2014 ruined meltdowns forever on here as nothing will ever quite live up to that.
