on here, probably about 2%, most of the Bruce in have ****ed off, even i have stopped posting and just read for the most part now. in reality, probably 60-40 for Bruce in i would say.
Not sure of the split but, I reckon the fence sitters are down on a side by now and I don't think it's the in side.
I've just been reading the Echo online.... http://www.sunderlandecho.com/sport/sunderland-afc/chris-young-column/bruce_sunderland_not_far_away_despite_arsenal_loss_1_3879351?commentspage=0 44 Comments on his version of yesterdays events and not one of them supportive of the manager. Now if that doesn't tell a story.......
Everything points to 95% being against Bruce, and 5% being for him.He has got to go now,and let a manager with some"nous" get the club out of the mess that Bruce has created. If he stops,he'll probably want Turner to play on the wing to use his pace!!!!!
I did a poll on here towards the end of last season about Steve Bruce and we were split 50/50. I wonder what the split would be this time around?
Steve Bruce out will win obviously, as most off the BIB have left this site, even i have stopped trying to support him on here, its not worth the effort tbh and no one takes a blind bit of notice anyway.
Not bothered if anyone is BIB or BOB mate but, the ones that left maybe can't argue their case anymore. As for anyone taking any notice the people who matter take no notice of anything said on here anyhow it's just a place for us fans to vent. KTF mate fight your corner (even if you are wrong )
I have fought my corner, a hell of a lot in the past few months, yes i do admit its getting harder and harder to defend him and the team, but football is a funny old game. I was all for Brown coming, yes he has made a couple of ****ups, but other than that he has looked solid, and seemed to be getting the best out of our defence (well anton when he was here). O`Shea i never really seen it, jack of all trades master of none for me, but everyone virtually to a man wanted him and didnt want Brown. And O`shea hasnt exactly been the rock everyone was expecting, I would so far as to say he has been bloody dire since he got in the team. Gardner good record last season, still didnt see the furore though. My point is though, who the hell would be a manager, you get in players that most want, they dont do it, you get in players no one cares about, they are rocks and excell. I still believe Bruce will come good, Bent/Gyan no idea whos fault they were, and dont really care, they are not here anymore, so pointless harping on about them for me, Bendtner couldnt play, Ji had been playing in SK and had 2 games i believe, and whickam is nursing an injury. We didnt have anyone to play from the start, who could give us 90 minutes at 100%. The next 3 games for me will tell all, 0 points and even I will be over to the BOB side, i can see Bent getting a hatrick, I can see Bolton being well up for it, and then we have Man U away, goody. But I can see him puling it around funilly enough, I do think we have good players, we just need to wake up at the start of games and we will be fine. And i dont think its a case of not arguing their case, i think its a case of most being Bruce out (for whatever reasons they have) and all the Bruce diatribe and negativity on here.
Funny I agree with everything you said there, had my doubts about O'Shea and Brown but, only Brown has done it for me can take or leave O'Shea. Thought Gardner would be a good addition still think we haven't seen the best of him yet. Again agree about Bent and Gyan something more to that I think. As for a new manager MON in my opinion is a non starter so that would leave a foreign manager as I can't see any UK based ones taking us on. Heard a good one today about McLaren had to laugh just hope he was laughing as well. Can't see Bent getting a hat trick but definitely the winner, 0 points from the next 2 games and I think which side you are on will be academic as he'll be gone. To be honest get beat on Saturday and he'll be on the dole queue by Monday morning, then it'll be (insert initial)IB or (insert initial)OB.
Got to say that you were spot on there Steve I was one of the "oh no, not Brown" Brigade and was much happier with O'Shea signing, but what a let down he has been. He's too slow as a full back, so needs to move to centre back alongside Wes Brown WHEN we have a decent right back to slot into the role, as for me, Bardsley is a much better left back than he is right back and should assume that role on his return to the first team.
