Welcome to the 14th season of The Spurs Prediction League. Our current champion is Left on the Shelf and he joins the immortals at the top of the Honours Board. We will surely look forward to an interesting season with a new manager and some changes of personnel all round in the club. Predicting games will be harder than ever and to start the season we meet the current champions Manchester City at our stadium with the added factor of the still uncertain situation with Harry Kane. All are welcome to take part in the prediction league, I only ask that if you do start you keep predicting until the end. The overwhelming majority of our players do just that, making the game an interesting and sometimes exciting addition to match days. Only your first prediction for each game will count, no revisions will be accepted for any reason. 2. Your prediction must be made before the kick-off, if you are 1 minute past the start of the game (as shown by your post time) it will not be counted. BEWARE the not606 clock MAYBE SLOW/FAST and this is the clock you are timed by. 3. While I will make every effort to calculate your score correctly it is your responsibility to check your score and advise me of any error. 4. The league will be split into Divisions according to the number of participants. Each league will be no more than 20 positions. Promotion and Relegation will take place throughout the season according to your points total. 5. Your prediction should include the following; The score of both teams and the names of the Spurs goalscorers. 6. You can place your prediction any time following publication of the match thread but remember if you leave it late, waiting for team announcements, you risk missing the kick-off deadline. 7. The predictions are for PL games only. 8.
