    Not sure what you're getting at here Kyle, unless I've missed an intended joke! Schumacher claimed the title at the last race with the last driving moment of his season; so unless you mean he "eased off the pace" after hitting the barrier (to wait for Damon Hill to get within range), I didn't see any easing off from him.

    McLaren's aim coming away from Japan was to take what little gloss they could off of Red Bull's season. Taking at least one pole position was a big part of that.
