I hope you are right but.....

Hopefully we get another striker as if our hopes are pinned on Pitman and something happens to him, we will be screwed.

That Aaron Collins is decent too - I reckon he’ll score a few for us this season.

Stop jinxing the players FFS <laugh>

Think the worse and if it ends bad then we won't be surprised. If anything better than the worse then that's a positive <laugh>

    That’s the spirit - a bit of pre-season positivity!

Rovers have turned down a bid for Brandon Hanlan believed to be less than the tribunal fee

According to Bristol Live Barton has said Westbrooke is free to leave after a disappointing 12 months.

Strange time to let him go, and who can he bring in who's better?

Not that impressed with what I saw last season, supposed to be a dead ball specialist but they either didn't clear the first defender or they went over every one's head and out of play, and they say he is one of our higher paid players and if he is any good Barton wouldn't recognise it anyway

We need to let players go as squad restrictions. He ain't in Barton's plans so makes sense to let him go.

He was a big let down last season as expected big things. However, they all were a big let down. And despite how bad he was, surprisingly he had the sixth most key assists in L1 last season and that is in a relegation side and without us having a forward line! Imagine what he would be like in a side that was actually good. Also considering this, was he a let down? Or was he let down by 3 managers and a poor squad?

Both Westbrooke and Hanlan will undoubtedly thrive once they leave the Mem. God knows what's up with our club at the moment (apart from the obvious bit about having an incompetent thug as a manager) but we seem to be really good at making decent players ****e.

Read yesterday that Brandan Hanlan wants to join Lincoln.

John Akinde has decided not to leave Gillingham and join Bristol Rovers, after his first spell here I am relieved

Swindon have signed Jayden Mitchell-Lawson after his exit from Derby. I thought he was decent during his first loan spell with us.

Another unnamed league 1 club has made a bid for Brandan Hanlan, the bid is higher than Lincoln's but neither the amount or the club are stated

Highly experienced coach and Harry Rednap’s loyal assistant, Kevin Bond, has joined Bristol Rovers to help fill the gap left by Clint Hill’s departure.

He’s got massive experience so i’m hoping that he’ll be a good addition for us.

Ben Garner is doing well seeing that he joined Swindon and only had 2 weeks to sign a team and get them fit. They are 3rd in the table. But apparently we have to wait until xmas to see our players gel and put in performances..... according Barton - while at the same time still claim we are going to get promoted this season! FFS!!!

The club should have had more faith in Ben Garner and given him more time

Ben Whelan and Leon Clarke both training with Rovers, Whelan is 37 and Clarke is 36 can't we find anybody younger who might just have the legs to run with energy to help us
