We won our first 3 games but once again had too many draws so we didn't come flying out of the blocks but city certainly didn't either. We lost the league in the middle set of fixtures when city, who are a confidence side, capitalised on our poor form. Had we not had our defence decimated, who knows how city would have responded to a continued good run by us. It was what it was. It's far too simplistic to talk just about title winning/challenging form.
city won 20 in a row mate. as i said 9-4-1 first 14 and then 3-3-8. finishing with 8-2-0 9-4-1 isnt actually good enough no matter how you cut it 3-3-8 is disastrous so once again here's to better form next season that the 8-2-0 into next season and we will be golden. take 9-4-1 and we will be top 4. dunno how complicated you wanna make it. form is form.
just to give JB some context Man city: first 14 7-5-2 (terrible, clearly) Next 13-0-1 (not bad) Last 10 7-0-3 (falling over the line while focusing on the CL.) Incidentally they were 14 points clear before the game were they lost to leeds in that last 10. however thats not even the full picture is it. leeds game was between the CL QF games v dortmund. Cheslea loss was right after the SF second leg. The point being city might had had a bad start but thats nothing to do with our record not being good enough to complete next season. they went 23-2-3 for the rest of the season (28 games) That form is actually good enough for the title. and our last 10 was good enough too so heres's to better form than our first 14 last season (like we showed we could do) Lets do this
If you want the "top after 14 games" trophy that nobody wards sure why not? let it go mate. Let's look forward to better form this season
no, thats just me telling you you were obviously wrong all along and you in effect gave up in your last post so as the great one would say. apology accepted
Citeh Struggling with Covid losses, can only afford One £100m player. Maybe they'll only bid £99m for Kane
So Kane didn't turn up to training today. I wonder if the media will destroy their little golden boy for his childish antics ...
He'd already said he wouldn't be turning up for training (or somebody did on his behalf) to force a move. Rumours that city are no longer interested. Plan B?
Depends on if they sign Grealish apparently. But it all just seems to be a ploy to drive the price down, by both sides. City say they aren't bothered, Kane says '**** it I want out'. Spurs have to take a lower bid from a 'reluctant' City. Cause they're isn't a Plan B for Kane. Real want Mbappe Barca have no money ManU bought Sancho Bayern wont pay that kind of money We wouldn't buy him Chelsea want Haaland (Plus Spurs/Chelsea etc) PSG are the only other option and they seem to be far too busy trying to keep hold of Mbappe.
