SOUTH AFRICA v THE BRITISH & IRISH LIONS......
I agree - I wouldn’t have selected Hogg: his mistake would have cost a try if it wasn’t ruled out for a knock onI'll be behind the team Saturday, obviously but I'm somewhat disappointed with the same selection. I think the Boks will know exactly what to expect now and will be prepared. I have a feeling this is going to a third test.

Just 1 Welsh based player in the starting XV - only 2 Welsh players in the team, assuming Biggar is fit to play.Come on the Bokks![]()

That’s what you get, I suppose for finishing 5th in the Six Nations ….. Hang on, ….![]()
I’d have picked them both - hell, Hogg couldn’t command a place in the Exeter side at the end of the season.Josh Adams must be fuming after playing so well in the lead up to the tests and giving up being at the birth of his child. I imagine Liam Williams is none too pleased as well.
I am surprised Liam didn't get the nod over Hogg as we didn't look too good under the high ball last week. I thought he would leave Josh out again but I expect him to play in the final test.

Brutal gameFirst half was a battle of attrition - I’m still not convinced by Hogg and VDM…
9-6 to the Lions at HT
