Anything can happen in football. You could stuff us but we are looking very good at the moment. AVB was the most important transfer of the summer
I am confident of a win, but as always I will go with hope rather than expectation. In a strange way I am looking just as forward to watching the United vs City game as well, I'll probably set off around 11-12 on Sunday and find a good pub to watch it. We usually do well in the derbies and I am sure the boys can deliver. I am quite excited but nervous about the Arsenal game as it happens, need to keep this run going into what will be a massive game, things go our way and we could be top of the league going into November. I am sure City will take something off United at OT.
I can't see it happening. I don't recall any London Derby in recent years being so ridiculously one sided. Probably not since Spurs smashed West Ham 4-0 at WHL a few years back. If it's any consolation last season we were on our worst run of form and I went to WHL thinking we would get smashed, but in the end we came out with a 1-1 draw and should have won the game. With a Champions League game and Arsenal before and after, it is likely the squad will be rotated anyway. Bosingwa is rubbish and Ashley Cole has been poor and been declining for quite some time now IMO. If you can target them then that'll be where you have joy. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain, all the pressure and onus is on us, which could work in your favour.
Not going to lie, I would be disappointed if we didn't win but I certainly don't expect a smashing. I think you will probably get smashed by City lol but I could certainly see you getting a point at WHL if you play your best.
If, and it's unlikely anyway, Taarabt and SWP are on top form, we'll cause any team problems going forward but Drogba needn't change out of his club suit such will be the lack of a physical test he's given by Hall.
I'd be more worried about Anelka. Drogba has looked poor of late. I am hoping Anelka gets the nod (never thought I'd say that)
See u Sunday, my little brothers. We'll come and give you a pay on the head if you behave ourselves when the big boys are in town
That is possibly the worst written sentence in the history of English literacy!! Look forward to seeing you in Ellerslie Rd then!
I dont quite no why Im doing this but there you may recall...ooooh....I dont know, just over a week ago Fulham smashed this side, cant remember who it was, something like 6-0. Now Im no geographical expert. Hell I didnt even do it at GCSE! But I'm pretty sure the other team was in West London which I presume makes it a London derby what with the two sides proximity to each other. Now it wasnt QPR I know that much so it must have been you lot...or Brentford but that's just ridiculous.
