    I was thinking that, but maybe with white uPVC. I'll see what's cheaper. Then there's what PnP and ST suggested too. I ****ing hate DIY <wah>

    you know you can get those corner pieces made from upvc?

    fits into the door, just cut out the bits where the door lock etc is. This not only reduces the gaps between the doors but also covers it. will cost you a couple of quid and 10 minutes if that

    Best thread ever.

    Although I don't really see the need to exclude Draughts - I do prefer Chess but I would still leave it in. <ok>

    Hope this helps, good luck.

    They are just UPVC corner pieces designed to be glued onto doors and windows, available at Band Q wickes etc. They come in different thickness sizes

    Typical woman's response <laugh>

    My ex-missus wanted to freshen up the kitchen and said she wanted to get new doors for all the cupboards. Before I knew what the **** was happening there was a whole new kitchen and utility room with all new 'fitted' appliances.

    Then, because all that was new the dining room had to be done including new flooring. That meant the hall need done with new flooring, then the stairs and landings...

    ...and so on.

    It would have been cheaper getting a new house. In fact, it would have been cheaper and better to get her a house and throw her ass out. <laugh>

    @Jip
    Do what Fan said plus ask your DIY shop for a sealing strip (usually used to seal trapdoors in a attic) attach it to the overlapping piece of wood/pvc and use gripfill to attach it to one of the doors.

    Sorted,no more draughts <ok>

    Cheers Irish. Now if I can just rid of the smell of decomposing flesh coming from the basement, I've got my dream home.

    Seriously Jip,that will work.The sealing strip is self adhesive on one side so you only get one chance to get it right.

    On a side note.Where the **** is the draught coming from?
