I used to call people cry babies, when I was about 5 like They are the ones who put you on ignore when they don't like what you are saying
Yeah summed up nicely I'm sure when next Saturday comes I'll still be buzzing going back for the first time since the pandemic, but it still feels all very sunderland going into it plugging gaps in defense especially if by then we havnt signed the apparent left back that we have ditched the gallacher deal for . I'm sure more questions will asked if we are another week down the line and no left back has been signed
Whos crying like?? Wind your neck in its a forum thats what places like this are for so we can air our issues amongst fellow fans ffs! Any player we sign needs to uproot their family, find somewhere to live and then come into the club and get to know Johnsons tactics and fellow team mates etc. Ideally all of this happens in July so the team can start playing to their full potential towards the end of August. Itll be getting towards the end of September before we are up and running with a whole load of games already played. If it was one or 2 players we were needing then fair enough, but we need at least half a dozen signings!
Yeah and my point is there is plenty teams that have missed out on playoffs automatics by having piss poor starts A guess what we both can't prove was this down to poor player recruitment
Would you rather we did a Wigan or an Ipswich and sign a load of lads on frees just to fill out the squad, or would you rather wait and get the right players in? Like I keep saying - I will reserve my judgement until the window closes. If we are still playing Winchester and Neill at full back after that, the the club will rightly get criticism
Yeah agree with that Just because I raise concerns I'm tagged as a crybaby. We all want best for the club. I'm not expecting transfer business to be wrapped up by July but certainly do not expect to be going into first game with no full backs
Im telling you to wind your neck in for accusing me of crying. Trust me i have many things i could cry about in life before Sunderland and our lack of signings. I come on here to discuss all good and bad things about Sunderland and right now things arent looking good at all
Well yeah we will see at the end of the window I don't think Wigan and especially Ipswich have just filled their squads with any old player I think they have recruited well
Wigan had 6 contracted players at the end last season. They have taken a massive gamble on Wyke and most Sunderland supporters had written off Power. Amos is an excellent signing at this level and one I wish we had made. Apart from that, couple of lads from a very average Portsmouth team and the Wigan manager still wants/needs another 6 or 7 players so you could argue they are no better off than us and for people to label them a "promotion rival" is an odd one
Stop crying and I'll wind my neck in then. Have a bit of bloody faith - the new owner has been here 5 mins and already made massive investments off the pitch and revamped the structure behind the scenes. It's going to take time and I'd rather we get it right than just recruit any old **** from Portsmouth
"gives". Missing question mark. Lost it before 09:00. I hope you're not allowed around knives and matches.
I'm not so sure Wigan have improved that much, but they did take 6 points off us with the **** they had last season. (He says hoping to get the thread back on track)
