Let's see who turns up for tomorrows match. Incidentally I see it is on "Spurs TV". Does that mean it will be free to view like last week?
Still no Sess or Ndombele, strange. Both were in early pre-season footage and whilst Ndombele has become a Dad recently I’m sure he isn’t missing all of these games purely because of that. No Dier and Winks though praying it’s not injury related and Don Fabio has told them they’re goners.
Wasn't the official line before the Colchester match along the lines of Reguilon and Ndombele needed a little more time in training to get fit? Yeah, there's a comment to make about Regui getting fit with the extra week while Ndombele didn't...
As my teenage cousin reprimanded me today...it is 'banging'. Banging what, I'm not entirely sure? Heads against walls? Taking a second and third and fourth glance at what at first looks like the official kit of a mountain biking team, I can see the appeal to a younger audience. It has the vibes of a professional e-sports team. E-sports by the way, despite the somewhat ironic name, is the fastest growing 'sport' in the industry, with capital growing 8-9% per year (post-covid figures are likely to be much higher when released), and some of the bigger 'clans' have an estimated net worth in excess of £300m. I read somewhere the other week that e-sports will overtake actual sport as an industry in the next 10 years. Sheer volume of users (it's basically limitless) plus high accessibility will do it. Wouldn't be surprised if we start seeing major cross-industry sponsorship deals in the near future and more kits looking like something out of a Ridley Scott film.
Must admit I don’t know, I’ve only been switching the games on more or less with about 3 mins til KO so I’ve missed any pre-match comments or news.
I like the lineup, in that it looks like Dele is #8, and John is starting. Last match it seemed that Son, Bergwijn, Lucas and Skipp passed and moved the way Nuno (and I, for that matter) wanted, while Dele didn't, really. He dwelt on the ball. So this week Nuno is trying John in the front four.
