Does anyone know if the squad are staying in South Wales until the Swansea game or if they are travelling home?
It's pleasing to hear we won so comfortably, Especially whilst missing JWP, Armstrong and Vestergaard. Perhaps with 2 or 3 more additions we will be a decent outift in the premier league. I think it's fair to say this season may be the season Redmond is dropped down to 3rd spot on that Left side with Moussa and Tella vying for that berth. How did Moi get on?
yes, they have a training camp in Wales for the week, book ended by the friendlies. Don’t ask me where they are based
Sounds more and more like Tella has now usurped Redmond and Djenepo to me, should be a regular next season.
Also Fulham posted this a few days ago. Thought it was our B team but some seniors there. Didn’t watch it too closely to see who lined up.
Don't say it too loud, but the guys are looking good. looking fit & well prepared. maybe it's a result of Ralph's more casual look. #TheWaistcoatIsWorkingWonders
Can’t read too much in pre season (we put seven past Swansea in one half in our only pre season game last season, then had that dire Palace game). But it is still encouraging. Hopefully a full pre season and a less condensed season should help us in terms of preparation, avoiding mass injuries and burnout which imo was a big part of our implosion last season with our thin squad and demanding playing style.
Honestly, l read nothing in this result. It is good for match conditioning and Adams scoring twice will hopefully boost his confidence a little. Also helps the new players or those with less match time with seniors get to build team spirit. Other than that, quoting Monty Python...
Valery was ok…didn’t have much to do defensively and was a willing runner going forward…KWP was a clear class above when he came on.
I know Ralph has suggested Valery will be leaving this summer, either on loan or permanently, but it would be great if he could get to a level where he is capable back up to KWP and hopefully learn from him too. Then we are only 1 left back away from having 2 defenders for each position across the back, rather than relying on having a single back up who can do half a job at both left & right back.
How did you get tickets for both games if there are no away fans? Are you a member for both Cardiff and Swansea?
