Easy back home mate, nearly everything is card transactions now, contactless, although I have used cash over the last week, if I'm satisfied that where I'm spending, people are happy to handle it.

It's tragic what happened to HIAG. The mess he's left his family with makes it even more sad.

I just think it beggars belief that this has happened in a country where we have free access to vaccines made available to us, and yet some people still refuse to have them and instead buy into the **** they've read on the internet.

When around the world, there are millions at risk because they have no access to vaccines, and live in cramped, crowded conditions with poor access to health services.

Just have to try and keep yourself and your missus safe mate and act as though those you come into contact with have it.

Is the situation in Thailand getting better with regards to the vaccine roll out ? Do you know what sort of time span you're looking at ?

Trouble is mate it's very easy to fall down them wormholes. I had a bit of a do with Sucky yesterday over the same thing, which didn't go as I'd intended, but hey ho, but you don't realise you're doing it. I made the same mistake myself, and suddenly realised I had to back up. Even seemingly intelligent people can be duped by this shhite, it's very dangerous stuff, that we probably don't take seriously enough sometimes. Thing is when you try and point it out, no matter how subtly, it's human nature to get all defensive - which is where hiag comes in. I tried to follow a wide choice of differing views, and that can be where the most danger lay. It's often not that difficult to tell what sort of people, others are following by the type of stuff they post up, and other stuff just seems on auto repeat like Rachel Shabi from the Guardian, it's the same bolloxs on auto repeat reflecting their political bias, which really don't help anyone other than to massage the authors ego.

The psychology with conspiracy theory thinking gets people to look at real conspiracies, injustices, corruption, Govt cover ups etc and then uses that as a platform to say because X is real, therefore Y must also be real. It's leap of faith stuff, but it's presented in a compelling and convincing way, so normally intelligent, critical thinking people can fall for it.

The whole covid stuff also got wrapped up in right wing libertarian / personal freedoms stuff. Where they hate any intervention from the State, even if it is to protect public health. ****ehawks like Katie Hopkins have been banging the drum for this ****e and there's more than a few who lap it up.

That's a ****ing tall order mate. Hopefully more vaccines will be made available when European countries have vaccinated their populations and can free up stocks.

I don't think the left help the situation either aka Shabi....we all need to work together and drop this left v right bolloxs....but that's getting political, so i'll leave it there.

We should all work together on this, whatever political leaning people want to give it, there's a element being driven by certain MPs and commentators that feel personal freedoms trump public health and that measures designed to protect society don't apply to them.

Imo that's selfish as **** and should be called out for what it is.

Surprised the Spurs lot didn't put up a decent thread for HiaG. I remember when Aldo told you lot I was dead once, even I had a half decent thread.

It was quite funny to be fair. I should have hung it out, but I gave myself away when I liked a post. That's what I want when I go, light heartedness, none of that morbid stuff.
