Wrong, THIS, is a work of Passion!

Music, direct from God (via Bach) himself.

Nice picture of a lot of old Saints too.

Meowth, that's right!^_^

You must admit though, that is one lovely bit of music.
It's nearly 300 years old so he did a good job.

4. Ah yes, St Matthew's passion, with divine inspiration from by 'Le God' in reverence of those blessed and heavenly 'Saints'. J.S. 'Nigel' Bach was a genius!

11,000 fans at Fratton. Putting aside the usual rivalries and the long drawn out attendance debates... but, really, come on, that is a bloody pathetic turn out.

The season before Double "0" Redknapp arrived, they had only been getting 7,000

Pompey haven't stolen our song. Pompey fans are actually singing...

We're waiting for you
to stuff us 8-2.
(and we'll only score two goals,
cos you pity us too)

12. Would be interesting to hear SB3's take on proceedings, as I am sure he was there...

SB3, do you hold Westwood's bell whilst he goes for another pint?

Football songs don't really count when there is only 8 people singing them (when I say people, that clearly excludes freaks of nature like Westwood and his cabbage patch associates)

It's about his goals taking us to the Premier League (which could be very prophetic judging by the season so far!)....sung to the tune of "When Jonnie comes marching home"....Pompey's version appears to have no lyrics, or none that I could decipher through my TV!..<laugh>

17. SB3, shhh poppet, I don't want you getting upset and over-excited.

Here's how it is. Saints adopted the song from the US and turned into a popular terrace chant. Spurs copied us. No spurs in the song, just saints.

Pompey thought it would be wise to imitate a clock sounding its chimes...

Loads of teams in football and other sports sing there own versions of 'When the saints go marching in,' i doubt southampton were the first to use it. At least the pompey chimes are a bit original.
