All the NHS staff do is constantly whinge about their pay. They know fine well what the pay is before they even decide to go down that road as a career.

They know what the job entails and they know the dangers of it. They've had a busy period and worked their socks off which we are all grateful for but they've just done their job for which they're being paid. I think they're starting to rub the general public up the wrong way with this constant whinging, especially at a time when thousands of people have lost their jobs and there's no work available to them.

 

These %age increases are on top of the increases they are given every year within grades.

 

I saw something last year that NHS workers did over 1 million extra hours of unpaid over time which works out as less than an extra hour for each employee.

I phoned for my bi-yearly dental check up which involves a scale and polish, they can't do it on the NHS, I need to go private (which I have done before) but no appointments until November!
