Lots to like about the first half but that second half was minging. What does Johnson say to them at HT?! I know there was lots of changes/youngsters brung on but it’s just not good enough.

Can you ever remember a manager giving a half time talk where we’ve come out better.?

It’s a bit of an echo chamber. They post something negative, usually link it to the fact Donald and Methven haven’t sold up fully, people then respond with even more negativity, they then quote re-tweet with more negativity etc.

They all seem like decent lads and do post some really good views. But I can do without the consistent negative spin on everything

Let's have another dig at the manager. It was a typical pre-season game becoming a little disjointed with all the subs. Certainly some good signs especially Embleton and Neil

Some ****er on RTG reckons Embleton just isn’t good enough.

Are we watching the same game?! I thought he was superb, especially first half.

With pre season you'd normally see wholesale changes at ht. We haven't the players to do that. Lots of work still to do clearly.

When it stands out that some people are desperate to have a dig at the club/manager and hoping Burge throws a ball in the net ...

... you know the place is infected.

Agreed. His touch was very good, deserves a run in the side for me.

They'd find themselves on their arse if they ever went to an away game tbh.

I'd imagine it will be him or Pritchard who will play the number 10 role

2nd pre season friendly, I’m remarkably chilled about how it’s going.

well what the hell happened there..did york change things (which is a worry if so as we did not seem to have an answer) or did we just sit back a bit too much, the nice, crisp passing of the first half turned into rushed and mishit kicks.

york were never going to make it an easy game and my own opinion was that if they were going to score it would be a set piece, bit of a scramble from a well taken kick but something we should defend better.

wanted to see more of dyce, again, first half ok but second half he resorted to fouling and his runs forward seemed to dry up, AOB brought nothing different than stewart except slightly less of a goal threat, benji looked very handy and deserved a goal when he was brought down...thought a more senior player might have been in line as penalty taker though.

'first team' still not quite up to scratch and if we have to rely on that bench then i hope those lads can get up to speed asap.
