I've watched that clip a number of times and I don't think it is someone spitting at him. I think it's someone's hair and the only possible candidate for gobbing at him is wearing a mask. Nothing would surprise me nowadays, though. Ridiculous amount of hatred in the game at the moment.

There are similar noises throughout the video. 1.45 has an almost identical sound, for example. I can't work out exactly what it is, but I don't think it's spitting. It is odd, though.
A camera click would make the most sense, but I know a few pro photographers and none of their digital SLR cameras make that sort of noise - but cameras from the 90s do, which would mean that there's somebody out there who is unaware that digital photography has been the standard for at least a decade, a scenario that is somehow the more far-fetched
Well this will never happen again. I had two meetings which ran the length of today's match--and both were cancelled. Not that the meetings would have distracted me from the match.
