I actually don't know. I hope do though as he is one of the best. The CAT extension was until 12th July. Now on the 21st so we may hear something soon.
No my point was Roy is standing staunchly by Kevin Carter, sorry, Nick De Marco as if having a decent lawyer means you win. My point was Ashley hired “the best” against Keegan and lost, by some distance. Trusting to a lawyer is like asking Ashley to hold your pint.
Actually that wasn't my point at all mate. My point was simply I have more faith on our lawyer than some arsehole journalists or any of my fellow posters on here.
A good lawyer with **** evidence and saddled with a poor defendant is in dodgy territory and is probably just picking up the loot whilst managing the client’s expectations…. which was prolly the case when defending Ashers. let’s hope that Bird & Bird find themselves in that chair this time whilst Team PIF are on the side of the angels still gritting my teeth though
On the basis that this is now definitely not happening for at least six months should we freeze the thread? I have also heard on the grapevine that Willock is not now coming because of the takeover news. It’s a rumour but it wouldn’t surprise me.
Every one know MA wasn't going to win that one. All billionaires would try to hire the best lawyer regardless of win/lose.
Based on the way Arsenal are spending they probably don't have plans for Willock so he still should be attainable (on loan though, as there's no money). But I'm sure he must have better offers from other PL clubs? Surely the likes of Villa, West Ham and Everton will be looking at him.
