    So why are we supposed to worry about 17m we wont be getting? That Money is owed to some bank or other if Coutinho plays those games.

    Its still seriously funny.

    I would presume we sold the debt for a discount so couldn't collect quite a lot of the fee so seeing those unreliable spivs wrung for every penny is kind of fun.

    No one is paying £200m for a player with just one year left on their contract.

    True although I'd imagine when we sold the debt they bought the terms that went with it too meaning they won't be entitled to the £17m if Coutinho doesn't play the games.

    I don't see him asking for £500k per week, and I certainly don't see us paying more than £350k pw (probably much less) so just went with that. We could make it up using bonuses etc though

    For the fixed payments that’s def the case. Not sure about the additional fees based on performance and appearances though as was no guarantee they would be met so would be risky for a 3rd party to take on those debts?

    Good news lads. Someone I know, who is in the know, told me this;

    Carol from the canteen has sold more cheese and pickle sandwiches than expected and we sold 5 LFC bottle openers at the club shop we have an extra £18.76 to spend on players. Mbappe is on the way for sure now…

    Most as late sub. Very few league starts but did more in the cl for them.

    He didnt really establish himself as a player they were going to buy but I suppose our price dropped ala kabak I guess.

    We made 4 or 5 mil put of his loans so it's all gravy I suppose.

    Jurgen Klopp is looking at Jarrod Bowen as an attacking option for the club. The move would depend on sales such as Origi & Shaqiri though. ( The Athletic)

    No thanks. Very average mid table player, hardly pulled up any trees at West Ham.

    Think I might just have mentioned this before Dribs, old son - but some source would make these rumours more digestible.
    A little provenance would help us to upgrade the possibilities from no chance to almost no chance.

    Liverpool have made an opening offer for Atletico Madrid star Saul Niguez and willing to let either Xherdan Shaqiri or Jordan Henderson move in the opposite direction.
