I’ve heard it’s a former Spurs player who wears blue… not English.

If it's the Manchester cops investigating wouldn't that mean it's someone from City or United? In which case the only 31 year old is Walker.

If it's Everton then Sigurdsson and Delph fit the bill if it's someone who's 31.

    It's ridiculous on RTG tbh.

The media, social media, etc all happily fingering, excuse the pun, Sigurdsson but people on RTG hysterical about it and warning people not to mention Iceland ...

... and now the thread, about a PL player on a chat forum, has been pulled with two posters banned <doh>

Libellous of course to use the name.

    It's not though tbh.

If I quote The Sun the legal liability lies with The Sun.

Someone would have to win a liable case against The Sun before they could attack me or the owner of this website.

Glad I'm not on over the road. Followed it for years but it's gone to the dogs last 3 years or so.

No they won't unless it's something totally outrageous but the owner @brb, in this case, is too stupid to ignore it ...

... in my experience, he isn't.

I once went out with a nurse who could've been an underwear model, absolutely stunning.

She'd been beaten and abused by her previous bloke but I treated her like a Goddess ....

... she dumped me and went out with a nutter who kicked shyte out of her.

Who the f*** knows how people's minds work, look at Rooney <laugh>

Also what would they gain by pursuing individuals over The Sun as it's all about the payout in these cases.

"Premier league footballer celebrates £70 liable win from taxi driver who called him a nonce on the internet. 150,000 more cases pending".

The legal bill would dwarf the payout.

Think the concerns are more about prejudicing a trial, difficult to have a fair trial if the whole country has decided you’re guilty. Whilst going after a message board for damages is ultimately unlikely I’m pretty sure solicitors would be on the case and threatening it even if all bark no teeth ultimately. Wouldn’t want to take that risk personally.
