Not bothered personally. Rather get a competent replacement who doesn’t spend 7 months of the season in the treatment room.

I'm happy to wait and if he does eventually sign after taking his sweet time there'll be no animosity from me. All we know is that talks are ongoing all seems pretty standard stuff to me.

I can understand your views there, he has seemed to be made of glass last season, however i am inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt, he didn't set the league on fire so cant have that many admires who will pay what he wants as he still has a lot to learn. Maybe it's just a ruse by him to try and increase his value

 

My biggest worry is that we won’t replace him.

 

he hasn't gone yet and if he does, i'm sure we can replace him, the premiership clubs release loads of under 23 players that are surplus to requirements, or there will be guys in our own set up that could fill his boots.

 

So do the club, mate. But there's absolutely no rush and when it comes out, everyone will understand. (sorry I can't be specific)

I think he clearly does otherwise his name would be getting linked to other clubs all over the shop. And I don't remember seeing him linked to anybody once all summer.

Heard he’s still injured but deal still on table. We should hear more within a week. If he does leave can’t see him going far.

I don’t think you’ll get a better left back in our division… but it’s no good have a great player who plays 6 games a season!

If we can get him fit, great. If not then it’s not worth a contract.

 

Can’t see a swap deal as it’ll likely go to tribunal if he goes.
