One player who I think is underrated when it comes to penalties is our very own Mo Salah. There is nothing fancy about his penalties - he steps and leathers it. Clean striker and handles the pressure so well (he scored a last min penalty which secured Egypts WC qualification and he also scored the penalty in the CL final).
He hasnt ballooned one yet so as you said it's a clean striker of the ball with his way which is power it in. If it does get saved it's either going miles out of the goal or goes through the keepers hand and in. I think he strikes them high enough the keepers body is take out of the equation
Milner is a perfect pen taker. No nonsense from boring james milner. Actually it kind of raises the question, are anally retentive germans better at pens just because they are boring people who take it very serious and just hit the thing?
in club football transfermarkt has him on 1 goal . on looking what was noticeable was how few successful penalties our team had combined excluding Kane & Rashford and even Rashford only has 9 .
Is there another series? Kids love that. Ex lfc keepers in need of cash. Grobs? (hes in america doing coaching?) David james? (bankruptee) Chris kirkland? (Mental health campaigns)
What I dont get on this.penalty arguement is that southgate virtually played for the pens with his subs and tactics v germany and denmark and achieved it v italy. If he wanted to go do that and had 27 squad places why not pick bamford, or beg vardy and milner to come back? You've rashford who is a second or third choice at utf
I'd say the Spanish version wouldn't be as good as our version. I can only see the fast show stereotypes of spanish tv. Sorchio
