Haha you already posted it? I am not on this thread every day and if I miss a couple of days then there are about 20 pages to read so I generally just skip them.

 

Cut foreign aid and still pay the second highest amount.

The government already pay for school kids lunch during school holidays.

I don't think it is as simple as a country giving foreign aid and they get nothing in return. Surely with a country like India then there would be some deals done too. As somebody mentioned before, it is just a shame that aid that goes to the Central African Republic etc goes mainly to some war chief. Also the mosquito nets that are sent to Chad and Niger mean that Abdul and his extended family are out of jobs as making mosquito nets has been their family business for generations.

My wife is from Durban(she is white before you ask!), her brother still lives there and the whites along with the Indians and even the educated blacks are taking turns during the night to tour the neighbourhoods, there are also huge roadblocks up too. Not sure how they will get supplies in though. To be fair, some of the whites want to go on shooting sprees just for the sake of it which sounds bad, but the blacks wouldn't think twice about killing you. So it is shoot or be shot I suppose.
