I think you have a specifc injunction stopping you going near 'a big open field' with or without a mask, the cows on Westwood can sleep without fear again ;)

    Absolute nightmare the whole procedure

I had to go back to Sweden for a week to undergo surgery (would cost me a fortune to have it done here), didn't cost a penny back home.

Anyway. 100 quid or so for the day 2 and day 8 test.
    https://www.eurofins.co.uk/pcr-testing-kits/day-2-and-8-test/

Horrible service. I never got any news about my day 2 test. I tried to contact them, they would get back to me over the phone.
Never did. Day 8 days went fine, took me a while for the negative test tho.

The worst thing was the DAILY calls from "Covid track and trace team" asking me the exact same questions every single day.
It sounded like they were calling from a basement and they'd call the most bizarre hours

    "Are you X"
    Yes
    "When are you born?"
    "Y"
"I'm qualified in bla bla bla data handling. Are you fine to proceed"
    "Ok"
    "Are you staying at C?"
    "Yes"
"Are you feeling unwell or show any signs of illness?"
    ".....No"
"If you are sick, please visit bla bla bla online"

    Every day for 10 days

How do you know it’s them?
I refuse to speak to anyone that rings me asking me to confirm my own details. (To be fair I refuse to speak on the phone to most people!)
I always just ring back the main company line if I think it’s important

Yeah that’s fair enough (as long as they have ID) but I’d never give my details to anyone who rings me as you’ve no idea who they are

It also cuts all the **** out because if it’s important they’ll direct you which department to go to, if it’s sales **** they’ll just be confused and tell you not to bother

I was referring to the NHS app that holds your covid records, prescriptions records and lots of other useful stuff. But I commend your effort and fact-rammed diligence !!

It’s easier for a driver to enforce a condition of carriage, ironically.

Not according to the drivers I know, which seems to be borne by my bus journeys. They don't get paid to take the sort of **** they're liable to get, plus they have to keep to a timetable.

I've had some great fun with it, because it's ridiculous. They start by saying 'for security purposes' which leads to the obvious question of, 'whose security, given I have no idea who you are?'
