Think the bloke is awful, makes some good saves, but nothing you wouldn't expect a league 1 keeper to save. The 4 times i have seen him he has made at least one cock up in each game.
he received a throw in from Morrison and got tackled by the Stevenage forward out wide, he shot at goal and missed, the ball stayed in play and Hamer just stood on the spot whinging, throwing his arms about outside of his area while Stevenage still had the ball!
I agree with Houndal never see a problem with Sully he should of been given a shot at the number 1 spot he impressed me last season when he played.. On Hamer, I think he will grow into a very good keeper the 1 thing he does brilliant is in disribution, his kicking is brilliant but he can be liable to make a mistake but what keeper isnt these days??
Hamer is good, but young. I'm sure Roberts will rope him in for Saturday. RE suli. I was very disappointed that he didn't start the season as number one. Thought he looked better than Elliot in the 6 or so games he played last season.
worth getting in a loanee i think just so he can settle in next few games we need an experienced keeper just do a job couple of months
Acworth, why do you always suggest loans? We have Suli who I think can count himself unlucky not to start this year, and loanees are what went wrong with parky (granted he had no money) but he relied on loanees too much, Suli needs to be given a chance, but I don't think Hamer is that bad, but then again not seen much since I moved to Uni in Leicester :/

Can't see why Suli was overlooked in favour of Hamer, he looks like one for the future & although he's not done too much wrong, I don't think he instils confidence in the defence. How ForEveranAddick can say Hamer's distribution is good I do not know, he kicks it up field & that's it. that's not good distribution its Sunday league big boot tactics.Throw it out to the defence to start running, Hamer takes forever to look around so we get closed down for that option, leaving, yes, the big boot.
were keepers ever 100% fool proof? I play in goal and alot of people dont seem to grasp that a keeper error is always worse than anywhere else, defenders and midfeilders can recover or be covered, and strikers will get another chance soon enough. if a keeper makes a mistake, its in the back of the net. Hamer has been decent/good in all areas of goalkeeping so far, and I feel i must remind people that if it wasnt for 2 penalties and two deflections (of which he could do nothing about) we would (should) have had 4 clean sheets in the last few league games. Even with those incidents, we have the second best defence in the league. Whilst this is down in part to the very very solid Taylor/Morrison partnership, and our two best players of recent weeks Wiggins/Solly, a back 4's acheivements are built on the foundations of solid goalkeeping. On distribution, I have noticed our fullbacks are closed down more quickly to prevent rapid distribution, and without* Kermo we dont have a real kicking outlet. I will concede here that far too many of Hamer's kicks are aimed at BWP, when, if possible, we should move Hayes/Kermo out left near Jackson, where are best two attacking headers of the ball will be. Maybe if Hollands and Stephens didnt have thier deckchairs out doing nothing productive for long periods of the game we will force thier attackers back off our fullbacks to deal with the midfield. If the fullbacks are bing closed down, there dhould be more running in the midfield for short/medium distribution. The only issue, in summary, that I have with Hamer is that he does seem to have a mouth on him, but im exactly the same when I play. Hamer is our number 1, and so should he be.
Im very sensative when it comes to the art of goalkeeping (being the fat kid everyone stuck in goal and then blamed). Somethings never change...
