I am ****ing fuming with that second half, extra time and penalties like. A centre half and a 19 year old kid stepping up ahead of experienced professionals.
Unfortunately no matter what the keeper does the players hitting those penalties have to do better. Two clever bastards that were not as clever as they thought they were plus a kid who was overawed and really wasn’t ready for such responsibility.
Getting to the final is a good achievement but we came up short. We never looked like tournament winners. Learn for the next one and actually play with some attacking intent. Well done Italy. Well deserved.

Makes keeping Sterling on when he was doing nowt absolutely ****ing sackless. Why weren't sancho or rqshford given a chance to actually make a difference rather than coming on just in time for the pressure cooker of penalties. Madness.
