There’s loads trying to get in without tickets, they tried to pull the stadium fencing down, but a load of riot police turned up.

They’re now going through seat by seat and throwing people out.

The organisation is much worse than the previous games.

I would have started Henderson ahead of Phillips tonight - but Southgate has my full trust.

'I tip Maguire for a knighthood after Euro 2020 final' - Alex Bruce who kept Harry OUT of Hull City side
Former City defender Alex Bruce looks ahead to England's biggest night in over half a century
    Barry Cooper
Alex Bruce admits seeing Harry Maguire develop into a key part of England’s run to the Euro 2020 final has not come as a huge surprise, and has backed his old teammate to earn a knighthood.

Bruce played with a young Maguire at Hull City and has watched closely in the years since as the former Tiger has gone on to become the world’s most expensive defender, and one on the cusp of writing his name into history should the Three Lions beat Italy to claim their first major title in 55 years.

Maguire missed the first two group games of the tournament as he recovered from injury, with boss Gareth Southgate choosing to operate with Tyrone Mings alongside John Stones, before bringing the 28-year-old back for the 1-0 win over the Czech Republic.

“Everyone has seen what a good player Harry’s turned into, he’s been absolutely outstanding in my opinion,” Bruce told Hull Live.

“He and John Stones at the back give the team a real solid base and they complement each other really well.

“Gareth deserves an awful lot of credit for how he’s handled that situation because the easy thing to do would have been chuck Harry in at the deep end and see how he goes, he was patient with him.

“He spoke to him a lot and made sure he was right for when he put him in the team.”

Bruce, who's solid performances for City kept Maguire on the sidelines during his early career with City, admits that one question has dogged Maguire’s potential to become one of the world’s best, and that surrounds his pace.

Harry Maguire, left, with Alex Bruce, centre in 2016 for Hull City against Brentford
Despite an apparent perception that Maguire lacks it compared to some, Bruce believes his former Tigers teammate has more than enough in the tank.

“I always looked at Harry’s strengths as a player, there was one question mark over him and that was whether or not he was going to be quick enough to play at the highest level,” he explained.

“You look at some defenders, and some of the greatest defenders in the world haven’t been blessed with tremendous pace, Giorgio Chiellini, Franco Baresi – don’t get me wrong, they can move but they’re not lightening quick.

“Harry’s physical prowess, the size that he’s got, his aerial ability, how he brings the ball out from the back and how he handles the ball, is the modern day centre-half, for international football in particular then you've got half a chance.

“He carries all necessary qualities and it hasn’t surprised me he’s gone on to reach the level he has.

“From when we played with him, he’s had to improve don’t get me wrong but that naturally happens with age and experience.

“He’s gone on from strength to strength and its pleasing to see him do so well.”

The ex-City promotion winner says it’s important for the country to try and enjoy the occasion, and respect what an achievement it is, irrespective of the outcome.

“We’ve just got to try and enjoy the day, it’s not very often we’ve got to a final as a country. I just hope to god we win,” he said.

“I was a bit more nervous for the semi-final than I will be for the final because it’s a sense of achievement to actually get to the final.”

Southgate has been criticised for his team selection at various points throughout the tournament, while Harry Kane also came under scrutiny early on, and Bruce says the manager’s strength of character has been hugely important.

“That’s one thing you’ve got to give Gareth Southgate credit for, he’s got thick skin, and he’s not listened to any outside influence.

“The press in this country have a very regular habit of building you up to knock you down, we’ve seen it over years and years.

“Gareth touched on it himself in the tournament where he picked a team and he thought ‘if I don’t get this right I’m dead’ – to go into a game with that pressure, I’m not sure other countries would have to feel that so it’s something we have to look at and try to sort out.

“When you’re in a major tournament you can’t play well all of the time, it’s the results that matter.

“Listen, if England play poorly and win 1-0, are we going to complain? Definitely not.

“You don’t get to high with the highs and too low with the lows, you’ve got to try and keep an even balance on things and don’t put too much pressure on the lads, and they’re young.”

When it comes to the pre-match betting, there’s not a huge amount in it with England marginal favourites if anything, and Bruce is bullish about their hopes.

“I fancy us strongly, on paper we’re the stronger team.

“If the lads turn up and play well I think we’ll win and they’ll all probably wake up on Monday morning with Sirs before their names.

“Everyone knows what’s at stake, what a game to play in. They must be so excited, the players, and if they go and do it they’ll deserve all the accolades they get.

“I’m going for 2-1 England in normal time, and hopefully we’ll all get a Bank Holiday on Monday!”

That's really sad. It's a shame they made this a 8pm kick off. Some people were bound to go too far to early.....

Some of the people in those video's look too far gone to even watch the game.

Come on England lets do the business on the pitch.

Please. Pretty please with knobs on.
