I thought Sancho for Saka would be the only change. Not convinced on this 3 at the back with Walker as a CB but who am I to argue. Hope it comes off
clocks ticking down nicely excitement level building cant wait for the result for England Churchill comes to mind 'Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few' "We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender,
Think the team will be too fast for them mate, and if we don't score in the first half they will be too nackered in the 2nd trying to keep up
That could be a big mistake. His attacking speed will be missed and he's not what I'd call a 'clever defender' ... ... the Italians could have him spinning tbh.
Think Trippier is a good pick. His set pieces are great, he's far more accomplished getting forward and putting the cross in than walker. Would have just loved another attacking player somewhere. Two defensive mids is just drab to watch. Probably won't give a **** if we were to win mind.
It worked perfectly against Germany and he's played in this position plenty for Man City so it's not unfamiliar territory for him.
Haven't been convinced by him in the whole tournament tbh. I think he has been one of our weak links. Hope he does the business tonight though.
however the same could be said for Kane but he proved us wrong once he got a goal, now he is the first name on the team sheet
I'm still looking at Kate on the tennis tbh. Beautiful lass. William has done well despite being a baldy bastard
I think he started poorly in the first game but has put in some brilliant performances since then. He got us out of some right pickles against Denmark and there was one bit of defending against Germany which had me out of my seat. I have been critical of him in the past but I think he may be the man to try and deal with Chiesa, at least I hope so.
This is true, but Walker hasn't had the same level of 'improvement' that Kane has had. He has been consistently a 5 or 6 (at best) out of 10.
