Popular misconception. I could take you to pubs now where you'd be welcomed(staunch Rangers pubs etc) and I could also take you to pubs where you'd need eyes in the back of your head and a protective helmet on to shield against flying objects. This Country is more divided than it's ever been and it is being further stoked every day by Nationalist Politicians...It's toxic and hateful and I often wonder how those who seek to divide and break up the union would feel if England were to ask for independence? Just as a footnote...My wife(Glaswegian) went for her weekly shop to Tesco the other day, filled her trolley, paid for it,walked through the doors on the way out and there was a huge Danish flag??? Took her shopping back in and told them to refund the lot as she doesn't support bigotry!!
The English FA have been fined €30,000 for the use of laser pointer disturbances during the national anthems and setting off fireworks in the victory over Denmark.
My wife's cousin married a Glasgow lass, she was a nurse in Hull but they moved up to Paisley years ago. From a Catholic Celtic family from Pollokshaws but she hates Sturgeon and wants to stay in the union with us.
A rare breed ric..my daughter wore her mother's old salmon pink Scotland shirt...I was so embarrassed
We'll not be discussing Scottish Independence on here. Ta. Foden had to sit out training today, I know we've got plenty of cover, but I thought he looked particularly good against Denmark.
Without wishing to enter the realm of politics, it must be worrying to see people being enticed into 'independence; ' economic disaster, constitutional chaos etc on the whims of people with no plan other than dislike of a bordering country. Trust in the quiet and sensible majority to resist the kami kazi encouragement of the SNP.
Good job no one else in Europe sets off fireworks or flares. Must be another English problem. The ****er will the flare however should be banned forever if found.
To be fair, UEFA are always dishing out firework fines to clubs whose fans set them off during their competitions, it's generally €10k a game.
