I used to coach some of Aldermaston's finest when I was in Reading, let's just say " getting in your own way " ie not having the ability to play without left brain processing every swing could have been invented by or for them.

Forget all the haters Roy. I applaud your desire to bring some morality into football. It's well needed. I just wish you'd been around when some guy on here told me I was nuts for having misgivings about the Saudi takeover, saying that football has nothing to do with morality and that this was about billions and billions!
I am feeling quietly confident but think the key to the game will be the two midfields. Rice and Phillips have been outstanding up to now in keeping the pressure off the defenders, but this is going to be a much harder test. I suspect our wing backs will have to work a lot harder defensively this game and I hope Walker sorts himself out. Think I would like to see Foden back in. This game will be all about retaining possession and he is much better at it than the others. . I would go with: Pickford Trippier Stones Maguire Shaw Rice Phillips Foden Saka Sterling Kane Suspect he will play Mount though instead of Saka or Foden.
Are they cheating though? Am I Saudi Arabian? That's 's a very different can of worms I'm afraid, but it's actually the case the city is being cheated out of investment, but we could get into plenty of secondary debates. Italy and the entire continent of Europe are quite rightly putting pressure on the ref to watch sterling and Kanes diving. It's a bit rich coming from them., but for me personally it's a sad day when you realise England are now forever tarnished in the same way. They could've won this competition without that being the case and I hope if they do win the final there's none of it.
