We literally get money taken from us by our owners, it’s the opposite of financial doping. I don’t even care about financial doping tbh, I was just pointing out that Roy loves to cheat when it’s his club but when England get a penalty from a foul (because it’s a foul anywhere else on the pitch, even if it was a soft penalty) he starts shagging Calzones and pretending like the Italians have never done anything snide even though they got a dodgy VAR decision the last time they played England.
Actually you're wrong there because I've spent months arguing that I don't want soft pens for newcastle.. The Longstaff incident most recently. That's the thing I'm not going to criticise Maradona for 30 years and then say its OK when England Rob another country in a big game.
Roy, bro, listen... you want a Saudi state funded club to compete with the best clubs. You’ve gone on about it for over a year now, they’ll inject stupid amounts of money and you know it. You tell me you’ll turn your back on your club the minute you start spending daft money on players and wages that your current income can’t support. City fans didn’t care, nor did Chelsea fans, and the vast majority of you lot won’t either. England didn’t cheat either, they got a contentious penalty and we’ve all had them given for and against us.
roy is currently too busy shoving pasta up his rectum to reply but im sure will get back to you once it loosens up and drops out
I just needed to highlight that it's not as you said me picking and choosing. It's my genuine feelings on soft pens for my team or any other. The takeover is actually potentially being cheated away from me, but anyway it's a whole different can of worms that has nothing to do with the football on the pitch. Mate I've had this one all day in fact all year. I don't like diving, soft pens and sterling took a dive to win the game and I call that cheating. I fully understand that football uses the term winning penalties instead, but I don't. There's no man on earth that's going to change my opinion and I'm not going to change yours mate. I'll get in trouble on here if this continues, so really I can't debate all this
However, it’s a foul by the rules and a penalty. Was Sterling in control of the ball? Yes. Did either defender take the ball? No. Did either or both defenders make contact with Sterling? Yes, both. It’s a binary decision mate, if you want to change the rules perhaps invent your own version of the game.
One thing I hope everyone agrees with me on is that Richard masters and Hoffman are a couple of first class ****s
They're all the same, mate. They're just two nameless, pointless pawns moving about the chessboard. It's the hands of people like Al Khalifa, John W Henry, the Glazers, etc., guiding their every move. They're the issue, and the irony is that's precisely what all NUFC fans are crying about. I wish the whole ****ing lot was burnt to the ground. Salary caps, regulated agents, squad limits, broadcast regulation to spread it across terrestrial, caps on sponsorship deals, meaningful financial measures. The game's gone. If the Saudi's ever did come in, so what? Is that Newcastle United? I don't think it is. Just another step towards zero-g multiball soccer, but sponsored by Aramco.
