Without an actual match thread today, there where too many articles about the same stuff, so its fair for Piskie to group them into one article that was on the same theme. Do not see the problem. Samurai, you made three atricles about the game. Was there a need for that many?

Housekeeping

 

One of the articles merged was not even about the game and was posted yesterday. Unless we are all now saying we should put all matchday posts in one thread I dont see the issue with separate threads on different aspects of the game as it progresses. Do we now only have one thread on match day? Or is it as many positive threads as you like, but only negative ones get merged? Would a number of positive threads been merged? In fact there are a few positive threads about the game today but they have not been merged.

Quite clearly not housekeeping.

 

I agree with this. Two threads about our defence being crap could've easily been condensed into one because they both said the same thing. Gunnerman made two threads earlier today but they were about two different things - Rosicky's performance and player ratings, so they stayed put.

 

In the middle of the game, when you get 4 or 5 articles on the same theme, then its fair to merge. So when I came on here after the game all I saw was just articles on the same topic after the next being moved and I saw no problem in that.

 

How do you explain merging threads based on the match today and one based on finances yesterday?

Ok, so listen:

MY FIRST TWO THREADS HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH OUR CLUB BEING ROTTEN TO THE CORE, WHICH IS WHAT THEY GOT MERGED INTO.

You might as well merge a thread saying 'Robin Van Persie is a good striker' with 'We have an awesome team' by that logic.

At times, moving threads is needed. But, **** me, Piskie merges everything negative into one thread, and everything positive can have individual places.

So this is what me and Jayram are pissed about: Why are we not allowed to criticise our team? I was just pointing out that without Robin Van Persie we would have been terrible, a statement I'm sure you can all forgive me for saying.

 

Try making a thread saying "Piskie is a cock" and see if the **** merges that

 

As you can see above, its actually THREE threads from yesterday that were merged. Kind of blows away the match day housekeeping argument. Add to that a series of posts containing multiple expletives by Piskie about how he hates negative ****s, and I think its pretty obvious what his motives were. Whilst I do have some sympathy with the idea of a single matchday thread, it doesn't wash hiding behind that in this case. It had nothing to do with housekeeping.

Before the game and yesterday you went on about how our club is 'rotten to the core' and at half time you said our performance was 'soul destroying' and after the game you have been NON-STOP moaning about getting your ****ing little threads merged. Jayram, how about letting me argue for it. Seriously, you need to stop being so attacking because no one will take you seriously that way.

SuperJack, what you need to understand is that we're pissed off because Piskie won't let us say anything negative about Arsenal. As fans, don't we have the right to?
