You need to go and have a long look in the mirror to see who's causing argument here!! YOU gave up YOUR membership because there was 'no football' and you didn't want vouchers for the 'tat' in the shop, your choice entirely. You now expect the Club to drop everything and get you back to the first game of the season as a matter of urgency? You've said a thousand times on here that Allam is set in his ways and that he's running the Club the way HE wants...Well He's doing just that. Do I think he's being 'clever' not allowing anyone to sign up now? No,not in particular but I'm not privy to his reasoning behind it and neither are you but that won't stop you tailoring the lack of information to suit your own agenda.
It's not about me, I'll be at the opening game, just as I am every season. I don't expect them to drop everything, I expect them to have had this sorted well before now. It's now eleven weeks since we were promoted, ten weeks since we went up as champions and now just four weeks before the new season kicks off. I find it utterly bizarre that we haven't taken advantage of our first league title in 55 years, after a year and a half of nobody being able to attend anything, to sign up as many people as possible, as soon as possible.
Not only that there will have been people like me who after over a year of not been able to go and before that choosing not to go, think “**** all the Allam crap” I want to watch football. There’s people like me that won’t take much persuading to renew my membership. They should be using the lockdown and promotion situations to get people back
PR wise the allams are terrible, we know it, they know it. They are just to stubborn to do anything about it…..wonder what happened to the ceo they were going to get to run the club?
I find certain posters’ attitudes on here bizarre. The likes of Chazz want us all to get memberships to help the club financially but also think we’re not deserving of a membership because we stopped going for whatever reason I refused to get a membership in the Prem but watched almost every game on Tiger TV in League 1 following a disaster of a season in the Championship. It’s not about which league we’re or how successful we are. Direct debits are a lot more of a nuisance when you have other monthly outgoings. Paying a one-off annual fee for a season ticket is better for me and a lot of other people because I don’t have to worry about it once it’s paid.
Hmm think the desperate laugh there shows what you have said is bullshit Which it is. Out of interest how old are you? You can afford a one off payment but can’t afford or unable to manage a direct debit Now that is bullshit
So you’re not even old enough to remember or having to pay your gas and leccy bill etc by going into town to do it etc Worra load of bullshit Every ****er pays things by direct debit nowadays That’s just the way it is
i remember when people used to say, you get out the habit of going and find it hard to go back and i used to think it was bollocks, but i sort of get it now. i honestly dont know if i am going to renew, money is tight for me at moment and i have got in routine of other stuff on a Saturday now, its only been 18 months and i was regular for over 25 years before that so you would think the 25 years would trump it, its weird
I think you’re in that age group where you’ve got a couple of young kids DJ and it’s often when other things are more important and the Mrs nags ya to death Once the kids get a little older and you pretend they wanna go you can go again to justify it
yeah its 2 kids in full time Nursery , its a killer on the finances and just purchased first house so i cancelled mine in January as i couldnt justify paying for nothing. this is a strange thing to say on Hull City message board but im trying too not discuss City too much, as i get fed up of going in circles - thats why i keep disappearing for a few months too have a break , but when you dont like the chairman or the manager , its hard too want to commit back to it as well, it is not enjoyment like it should be. thats why ive really enjoyed these Euros not just England winning, but the feeling of everyone on the same page, pulling together, its been a nice change
I didn’t realise how much nursery is these days My female colleague was telling me the other day. she’s a cracking lass and it’s extortionate and she only has one. not kidding I do shifts so I’m off a few days a week She was nearly begging me to have him
