Not sure this is the right place but.... I'm sat watching Tour de France coverage. Sport is my escape from life. I'm sat marvelling at the bravery of these lads descending from the Alps in wet conditions and the skill it takes to negotiate a safe ending. Adverts come on which is fair enough. The first advert was "I never thought my little girl would be forced to sleep with a man". That was the opening line. Then it was kids having to drink dirty water in Africa. Then it was something about mistreated donkeys. ****ing hell, I nearly hung myself. Surely there is a time and place for this ****. I'm sat here on my day off and I just get constant reminders about how **** the world is. I'm aware of it thanks. I don't need it shoving down my throat every 5 minutes. As I speak another has just come on about RSPCA not getting funding because of covid. Showing undernourished dogs in cages and one eyed cats. ****ing hell. I just wanted to enjoy some cycle racing. Its bang out of order.

Good film with G.Peck. It's pathetic. The other day I was watching E.Flynn in a 1940s film called,"They died with their boots on". A loosely based film about the early days of Custer. Anyway before it started there was an annoucement saying that any opinions were Historical opinions of the day. Who are they warning, who are they afraid to upset, because the people they aim these pc announcements at would hardly be watching a 1940s black and white film in the first place.
Have you noticed the news stories involving car crashes, you rarely hear that the driver or drivers were drunk or on drugs. Well over here in Dublin three lads were killed in a car crash a few days ago. Well the story coming out is that they were know criminals and they had just broken into a house and robbed two elderly victims of 200 euro who were under going cancer treatment, beat them up with a hurley stick and legged it. No mention on the news regarding the victims. Just someone laying flowers at the scene. Also the cops are being investagated for chasing them, but said they had pulled back before the crash. This is after the ****s went up the wrong side of the road. Well **** them.
