?? Who said "bottom of the table"? Can't recall anyone saying that. Bottom third maybe / likely (almost certainly)? I expect it's not costing us much at all, and of course no transfer fee involved. Fits very well with the model. We've got a lot of punching to do. Fingers crossed. And IF Eaves does leave, then it's actually a cost reduction move. Not sure he will be leaving though.
You've just answered your own question. If the League is divided into 3 groups,Allam says we've got a mid-table budget and that has been disputed on numerous occasions on here, then it's fair to say that most assume we have a bottom of the table budget??
He's been there since age of 12 and Rose through the ranks..having only played once for them I doubt he will be on a large wage.
Im sure I was called mad and making stuff up when I suggested that the league could be split into 3 mini leagues.... But sure enough there's a bottom third now haha
Bottom of the table = 24th Bottom 1/3 = anywhere between 17th and 24th Who knows, but I doubt we will be 'bottom of the table' (as the OP stated). Conversely, I doubt we'll be at or near 17th. The club has pretty much cleared the decks already, unlike the vast majority of other clubs, and is now only adding low wage options to the squad. One thing is for sure, we certainly won't be 'mid-table' (under whatever definition anyone chooses ). #likedejavualloveragain
Nope. Ehab said 'mid-table budget'. Mid-table = 12th / 13th. He didn't say 'mid third range' (9th to 16th); that was your own made up interpretation, or at least your own personal guess at what he might have intended to say. But it wasn't what he actually said! And it remains the case that the wage budget will be nowhere near either definition of 'mid-table' (as stated by Ehab or as interpreted by HT). Same with Ric. The post said 'bottom of the table'. That is 24th. Ok, I know, pedant alert, but there you go.
What convinced him to come ? Manager sold it .. 'and the world class facilities' ? Have we recently had an upgrade I don't know about ?
If he carries on being a little worse for drink in Beverley of an evening, squaring up to bouncers before the law intervene his time with us may be shorter than he imagines.....
Why, thank you kind sir! Been called many things over the years, a long time since I was called a lady!! Just for accuracy, not only fixed the mirror in the ladies, but there are now two! Luxurious.
