Wasn't at the game yesterday, but hear that he had another excellent game. Is he the new Rosenior (i.e. someone previously without a club who we pick up for nothing and turns out to be brilliant)? He has certainly made the number 1 spot his own and seems to have the comfidence of his back 4. Another brilliant piece of scouting/business by NP and his team IMO. If he is still doing the business by new year, surely worth another year on his deal?
He's really brought some stabability to a position that concerned us all so much early on in the season. Great keeper and a great find by Pearson and co!
Does anyone remember all the grief, the wailing and gnashing of teeth, at the prospect of City starting the season without the goal-keeping position adequately filled? Ho hum!
I take my hat off for the guy after slightly slating him before he even got a match because of his age and time since he last played he's proved me wrong and has been exceptional all season
3 or 4 brilliant saves, especially the one in the second half, from mc - smith I think it was. He just plucked it from the air.
Basso is easily one of the best keepers in the division. He has experience, confidence, good reactions, good positioning and is able to co-ordinate his back four well. Yet another great find by the management team.
What happened to that Egyptian bloke we were supposed to be getting a few months ago? I haven't been keeping up with the news recently.

Problems with his paperwork, it seems he wasn't available to be signed. It's quite surprising that three of our starting XI yesterday came to us on a free, it shows there are bargains out there.
Ah ok then. Tbh I'm half glad he wasn't signed. I think Basso really has come into his own the past month or so. Top keeper.
The Egyptian guy is the reason that Sion were expelled from the Europa League this season! Not his fault of course but still. I thought Basso would be a good 'keeper to have around. Didn't expect him to be #1 but knew he wouldn't let us down. Pity he's a midget though if he wasn't he'd be at a top club.
Basso has dreamt of playing in the premier league, let's hope we make it and he gets an extended deal and can achieve his dream with us.
