Well at the moment he isn't fitting in so well because Shane Long is taking the lone striker role so he might be for sale, didn't know about the new contract though. Nevertheless I think he would be a great backup striker and would give you something different as he stretches play with his pace, I know Suarez can do the same but I have always felt that he gets isolated when he is up front on his own and is much better when he is closer to midfield.

We can forget buying a top striker from one of Europe's top clubs, we never buy the best players from any of the top 4 of the big leagues.

N'Gog is doing quite well so far, has won us a penalty and scored a goal so far and he's only just settling in <whistle>

You're 8 games into the season, and you think that's a good return?

Is it me or does Odemwingie never looks like he can kick the ball properly? I remember a few times last season on one on ones and a penalty against United he dragged masively wide and just looked like someone that hadn't kicked a football before. Not sure he's the type of player of good enough for us either.

I can't think of any natural goal poachers in the whole of the league apart from Hernandez. Darren Bent would probably be the closest I can think of - always seems to pop up in the box at the right time.

Talking of goal poachers...I'm pretty glad those Connor Whickham rumours didn't come to light. <ok>

He'll do as a last resort I guess... Although he's more injury prone than Agger!

No thanks mate. Good player far too injury prone to be splashing big wages at.

We had the best finishers in the league before he turned Judas. Kenny's plan was for a suarez and Torres strike partnership, which would have been devastating. Pity Torres is a nob though and now he's being punished with **** form

    Saw this earlier:

"In the last 8 games, Liverpool have created 95 chances and only taken 9."

Most of which were clear cut chances which makes it more worrying

Hernandez would be good for you. Yes there are better players with skill, yes there are better players with control. Yes other forwards can glide past defenders with ease and others can score long range goals. However he has great speed, great movement and like all goal scorers an unbelievable fortunate to be in the right place at the right time.

Sorry but Carroll isn't your man.

Let's have him then. We can take him on a saturday, then you can use him when you play on a sunday.

A certain M.Owen might become available at the end of the season.

Far more likely than signings like Hazzard or Higuan.
