There really wont be. There was 10000 missing for Bruce's first match against Arsenal for a start. This will be similar, and thats being optimistic. This is if the takeover is confirmed as dead though.
Ashley isnt even the enemy to me anymore, no matter what happens. And in a way, if this fails then his actions of the last 14 years are almost justified. I mean what is the point of even trying to compete when the game is so bent and the odds so heavily stacked against you?
Ashley isn't responsible for this.. He should be sat having sold the club to the richest people in the sport and saying to himself in the end I did a good job.
It's still a game to watch, but it's knowing you've been shafted that ruins it.. It felt like all you could ever hope for was a big takeover and then it arrives and they say no and flush nufc down the toilet. Ashley finished me off respect to those that keep going, but I'll be amazed if this doesn't see numbers falling.. If it starts badly next season ouch
I mean ffs is this report even real? Government says it’s “up to the PL to come to a conclusion as quickly as possible” Not that I anticipated them doing anything but that's surely an old quote? It's well beyond making a decision.. Its been 15 months

So the Government adding pressure to get things sorted. Looks as though sending emails did have an effect. Shows it was useful sending emails at the weekend.
Assuming you actually thought that was the reason for making the request as opposed to trying to make sure the issue was kept alive in the public domain.
