Think the Czech goal came as a complete shock and knocked the stuffing out of them. Think they’re a dangerous side simply because they’re running on emotion and you just can’t train that! Hopeful we’re strong enough to get past them
england usually 'look good' in the group stage but fade when it matters. they seem to be doing it differently this time by just doing enough to qualify without going gung ho. i am hoping that this is a tactic to hold plenty of energy back as games do come along quite fast...time will tell of course but i think we look the 'freshest'.

I agree. We often overlook this. I do it myself see France or Spain bringing on a sub and say ‘decent off the bench that…’. We are pulling players like Sancho, or Grealish or Henderson off the bench, we absolutely for the first time in my memory have that depth. The defence is superb, Maguire has been ridiculously solid both games back. Pickford is on top of his game. I think it will be Italy in the final, if we get there, and even them losing Spinazolla has taken a massive part of their forward thrust. I’ve never seriously thought that we could win something, for all I’ve gone along for the ride and enjoyed it, but this is different. Man for man we are the best side left in it. I won’t say 'it’s ours to lose’ as Italy and Spain have real quality, as do Denmark, but if we are there, if we are focused and at our level, we have a golden chance. As mentioned, the lack of travel and ET is an advantage. Of course it is.

not sure if i want to watch the match tonight...we will hopefully be playing one of them in the final and i would rather not see how good/bad they perform, usually love to get a 'preview' of any opponents but i think we already know their main strengths or weakness'.
I actually think as an all round player Belotti is better than Immobile but he’s just a goal machine.
I've been very impressed with Barella in midfield. Looks an excellent player. It won't be easy as Spain are having an excellent tournament but I think Italy will edge it.
