I'm not really sure why the government have chosen to take the stance that they have on face masks. My first thought is maybe it is too much hassle to continue to enforce it to be worn, or more so the hassle it causes the police or front line employee's in businesses.

I think to say though, it should be personal choice is open to argument, as I've said before what's the point in wearing a mask, in an enclosed public space, if no one else is wearing one, because you are not protected, so it defeats the object.

In regards to protected, protected from what, so I should clairfy, that I am led to believe via the media it reduces transmission by 25%. Why would I not want to do that.

Now on to the topic of masks restricting breathing, my personal experience is they do. But I'm still happy to wear one to protect others. I saw written above the difference between face makes and a crash helmet, I've worn both, to me there is a massive difference, but that's from when I had a motorbike in my younger days, so maybe I've just forgotten how restrictive a motorcylce helmet was.

One last thing, I found worth noting, in guantanamo bay, prisoners were forcibly made to wear masks, along with other stuff that was deemed as toture to intefere with sensory perception, or something like that anyway.

So I do see all sides of the argument.

They are making it sound like it's some kind of VE day just as Biden is doing over the Atlantic .
Keep it on transport coz it will be harder to bring back in if needed

Have you been wearing a mask, you seem a bit dizzy.

So tell me more of this study as I have given multiple links that disprove the one you have.

Is that pressure/flow rate at low and medium speeds sufficient? Also you must have worn a helmet and the padding sits where? Trapping the Co2, unless the material is a grade that prevents C02 trapping. The NHS is having a nightmare I guess. Surgeons taking risks with patients during complex surgery.

    No mask NHS, less mistakes!!

These masks that the children wore, were they fully sealed. The one my daughter wears doesn't have a seal, its like they have side vents

I think the mask wearing has become a difficult thing for the government to enforce, simply as I said above, because it requires either the police or front line employee's in businesses to enforce it. That's neither fair or even possible realistically.

Here's an example of what they are up against... https://www.kentonline.co.uk/maidst...s-berating-passers-by-for-wearing-mas-250054/ Citizens going about their day peacefully, getting harassed.

It's down to people power now, if mask wearing becomes adopted, I have tbph and say I don't see that happening, but who knows, people can be amazing characters sometimes.

Me personally, I will carry a face mask with me when I go out. If I'm required to wear it, or am in an environment where other people are wearing it, I will put one on. I don't like wearing a face mask, but I'm not against them either, other than to say my breathing feels uncomfortable in one - thankfully I've given up smoking, so some chance one counteracts the other.

I think what would be going on there is not dizziness due to the face mask, but more so a combination of the face mask and another condition, that could be anything as simple as low blood pressure/sugar. What I'm suggesting is not something that would happen, but something that could happen on a remote unexpected ocassion. So I agree with you in principle. Merely because your air flow would be hindered and the mask would need to be removed in such event, purely in my opinon of course.

i did, i looked at it and also used basic science to disprove. Face mask do not trap C02 due to its size. Also its only 4 of what is breathed out.

Plus mask are not fully sealed, so have vents. I will hold back on the insulting terms as it shows you are rattled adn have come to the point your view is being taken apart.

So the cloth face masks used in the study/commonly worn are able to trap more c02. I don't think you have this right
