We are not a 'supposed' top 4/5 team, we ARE a top 4/5 team Do you know where we finished last season? 5th Do you know where we finished the season before? 4th. Given we have a home game in hand on you and Pool, we are in prime position to be in 4th or 5th this time round too. We've played every current top 4 team already in just 7 games. We've also played Arsenal as well. You aren't seen as serious contenders for fourth place by the bookies, us Arsenal and Pool are. We've beaten Arsenal and Pool already, there is nothing 'supposed' about our lofty position, we're there on merit.

So you are infact literally not in the top 4/5, so who has made the mistake?..Now im aware theres along way to go and you have a good chance but you have not proved you are a 4/5 team this season yet...You are therefore actually capable of being classed as a supposed top 4/5 team by the very nature of the league... no mistake there..
Yes, Im looking at the table too, and yes you have made the mistake. We have a home game in hand on Pool, which is v Everton. We are averaging two points per home game, so that means overall we're doing better than Pool. Furthermore, look at the fixtures we've played compared to you and Pool. We are currently a top 4/5 team on the games we've played and the points we've accrued We also finished top 4/5 in the last two seasons, therefore you 'supposed' comment is simply wrong
Pleased with the point, shame we didn't get 3. Both Spurs goals came at bad times for us when we were in the ascendancy. We then had to go chasing the game again to get the equaliser. Once we had it though we looked so dangerous on the counter attack at the end. Spurs did well under the pressure to not concede though. All in all a great 2nd half between two good teams.
Toon fans will be happy with this result, Spurs fans won't be. That's the difference, right there. The only reason I'm disappointed is because this is not the same team that demolished Liverpool. So many players simply did not turn up, even with the hindrance of Harry's lamentable tactics. The good thing is that we know we've got a lot more than that in the tank, and should still be on track for 3rd or 4th. To be fair to the Toon, if they can keep this up, they may finish above 'Pool, for 5th. Just make sure you give them a hammering when they visit you
I'm a Spurs fan and I'm happy with the result. I'd have taken a point before the game, and I felt Toon played well enough to earn the draw, so I'm fine with a good point. It's better than the point Pool earned at home to weakened Utd team. We are now in pole position for 4th spot, so that's good for me.
Please say this isnt a serious comment? Your whole argument is now relying on what ifs! You could easily lose to Everton, you just drew with a team who was meant to be fighting relegation at the start of the season.
