Just been wumming on Spuds board, seem to have forgotten they were going to beat us easy or so they were saying during midweek. Now apparently it's a better result for them than us <ok>

When is our game? I know it's at an awkward part of the season...Boxing day or New years day or something?

I'm dreading the trip to St James' park though, although that is in the 2nd half of the season which would probably be better for us as I think we may not get a result if we played you now considering our poor away form. Yet, by then you could still be right up there on good form and our away form may still be ****. <ok> If we didn't make top 4 this season I hope it's you guys.

We won't make top 4, but top 10 should be the aim first and foremost. Our game is on Dec 30th, a Friday night on SKY, 7:45pm.

    Leazes got there first <laugh>

But yeah, this. Think it could be a good point at the season for both of us, in my opinion. If we met you at home next week I'd fancy us more to be honest. We shall see!

And thank you <applause> I think half of your bloody team probably think the same haha.
But as Leazes says, we won't make top 4. Or be anywhere near. 7th is the dream still for me.

Just looked at some of the fixtures on the BBC predictor, Newcastle have some favourable games coming up (Although Stoke away is a bastard). Then after that you play City, Utd and Chelsea in consecutive games. Go into those games on good form and surely you can get one or two results from them, someone has gotta beat them right?

Chelsea at home will be a good game but I think we'll lose all 3 of those, but that's why we pick up the points now.

I think more that it's vital we do go into the City/ManU/Chelski games on good form so that we don't lose much ground table-wise if we lose. I'm not expecting anything from the Manc games. Possibly a draw against Chelsea but that's about it. As you say though, someone has to beat them! ;) Imagine if we beat them both, we could be the last remaining unbeaten team <laugh>

Only in my wildest dreams, eh..

True. I can understand why most of you seem reserved about where you might finish, but if Pardew sets out in Jan to buy a striker which he has already stated he wants to do then that could give the team an added boost to avoid any drop in form for the 2nd half of the season. A decent refreshment can transform a team, kinda like the income of Dalglish and Saurez did for us in the later half of last season.

True, but why was he Raylor's man? As a LB coming inside, Defoe was always going to be allowed to turn towards goal - Should've been handled by one of the CBs!

    This.

Saylor has to learn to stop diving in. 2 games running and luckily for him, only one has cost us. I'm sure he'll learn.

If Coloccini hadn't gone walkabout it wouldn't have been the makeshift left back's job to stop him turning.

Looking forward to the Wigan game. One of the easiest games we'll have this season so hopefully we'll score a **** load.

Good to hear Ginola saying we'll finish top six. :D

Defoe has done this twice now, he absolutely did Enrique to score against us. I think he deserves credit for this rather than the defenders taking the flak.

Not possible. Personally I think we should take the opportunity to blood some of the youngsters. ;)

At least he has the balls to say what others are afraid to say. If we can beat Wigan and Stoke I'll suck my own cock

Haha <laugh> Perhaps there's another Sameobi inspired pitch invasion coming on ;) Could do with a hat trick to get his scoring form going eh!
