I have to say I took note of this when Khaliafi was facing jail time for corruption. That was a huge huge story, but it wasn't really reported anywhere at all. You had to go looking for it It was just swept under the carpet and then he got away with it.

It's unlucky newcastle again because they could've done with England losing to Germany as usual.. The one time it would've even been of benefit England are still in a competition and of course that will dwarf all other sports news.
Alternatively its quite nice to have a major football tournament going on that we (England) are doing quite well in, to take our minds of the endless takeover non-news. Based on performance to date its unlikely that anything will happen with the takeover over the next week anyway.
