You say it was Boris due to the media. For me it was the Greedy Six misjudging their fans reaction. No evidence exists that categorically proves one or the other.

I can see the difference between the entire country and just the north east but not sure what part that plays in your views as you’ve just indicated it was media/Boris and not the public that stopped the ESL. For me it just needs significant numbers to make the Government act. It doesn’t matter if it’s just one area or predominantly one area so long as there are significant numbers making noise then the Government, especially this one, will act.

The minority of people post on social media. I wouldn’t gauge how something is viewed based on social media.

I would rather do something to effect change than do nothing. It might not work but, at least, I tried.

 

I believe mate... It would've taken them less effort to send a fruitless email than the efforts to say its a waste of time.

 

Let's keep building momentum and break their ****ing doors down on the 19th.

That is exactly my point. Giving NUST their 15 mins was nothing more than a box ticking excercise, done in the full knowledge by the PL that it would have no effect on matters. The same goes for the government and its MPs receiving emails and petitions. Makes them look like they are prepared to listen and act but the reality is very different.

We arent going to get significant numbers though. And regardless, the government have stated categorically that they wont get involved. Even Mohammed Bin Salman in his ear, with billions at stake, couldnt get them to force it through.

Quite frankly, I find this emotional blackmailing of the support once again, at this late stage of the game, pretty appaling. To the club I say, you have got your legal cases in place, now just go and get a ****ing verdict, one way or the other. Because this anguish that fans are now being put through simply isnt on.

 

I'll level with you mate sending an email isn't going to make it any better or worse for me emotionally.
