    I'm with Sweden.

Re. Wilson, yes, he also took full political advantage of the World Cup win. But at least he was a working-class man from Huddersfield who probably did care a bit about football. And yes, Wilson was pretty shifty, but Johnson is in a totally different league of lack of principle. Wilson lied when he felt it was necessary; Johnson lies as a first resort; it's his modus operandi.

Much more entertaining than the England-Germany game.

    Red card for Swedish defender.
One of the worst tackles I've ever seen.
Could have broken the guys leg.
    Come on Ukraine

    Media getting carried away again.
We are through to the final, and "it's coming home"
    Will they never learn.
Ukraine will be no push over.
    They have some excellent players.
And as we know, England do not travel very well.
I certainly am not counting any chickens

If you aren't entertained by England beating Germany then you have high expectations

Well Boris 'the destroyer' Johnson dominating the midfield. 100% committed to going head first for the ball(s)

    Switzerland down to 10 men.
    Xtra time looming.
Got to be the worst game of the tournament.

Not sure it's the worst, but it's dull stuff.

Spain don't look good enough to play tiki-taka well. Pedri is going to be to a superstar as long as he keeps his head together and avoids serious injury but is still too young to take a game by the scruff of the neck, Busquets is past his best, and the rest look pretty mediocre.

Unless Italy or Belgium suggest otherwise later, this tournament is wide open. There's nothing special there.

EDIT: Spain tonight reminds me of what a wag said after the game against Poland. Spain are a team without a striker; Poland are a striker without a team.

I'll be very surprised if Spain get through on penalties. The Swiss are tougher mentally.

Delaney with it too, so that probably adds a mil or two to the hypothetical transfer...
