The only kind of fan action that would make a difference and get this in the national news is physical disorder outside the PL's HQ. Emails and petitions wont make a blind bit of difference. Its been pointed out many times that nobody outside of our own support either cares about this or wants it to go through. The PL's twiiter account was bombarded with hostility last summer and they didnt give a ****. I have to say, the club statement and now this tweet from Ghoudussi doesnt tally with the idea that the club are in a strong position to win, or @Sheikh_of_Araby 's claim that negotiations are happening.
Doing nothing will do even less and this is clearly about avoiding a 50/50 arbitration. No harm in trying

There is harm though. By sending emails etc you are raising your hopes up and therefore setting yourself up for more hurt if the takeover doesnt happen. Do yourself a favour mate. Relax and let it play out by itself. If Ashley is now relying on fan protests to get this through then he clearly has no case.

I think it's clear we're being asked by the legal team to email our mps and it's not a huge ask so I have mate... I agree about patterson I'm not a big fan but he's paid alot of money and tried to do something. Yes I believe the aim has always been as nick demarco said to avoid arbitration and I believe if transparency of the case is given that the premier league will fold and there will be no cases. It's 50/50 if it goes that far and the premier league have no reason not to roll the dice as none of they foul play will be exposed either way. They apparently have something that is so bad that if they gain transparency the premier league will be forced to accept the takeover before court. Otherwise they'll go with the 50/50 case as they've come this far and have nothing to fear That is my reading of this anyway?
