They were different sure but for 26 of the 28 games they played size didn't matter, they went toe to toe. It was experience and mental toughness that counted in the end.

Emma Raducanu is on fire! A set up and 3-0 up in the second. Astonishing.

Her post-match interview on R5 Live was excellent. She was asked 'what is the biggest thing winning this match means to you?', reply 'it means I get to come back and have another game!'. :emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0102-bigsm

She moved to London when she was 2, this is the only country she's known, she's British, as is Sterling, who's going to get us the win tonight.

    Multiple citizenships anyone?

It's concievable Raducanu could have a minimum of 2, and if she spent time in China or Romania in the future, if those countries allow dual citizenship, she may be allowed to have 4 different citizenships/passports. I'm not familiar with the rules/laws of citizenship with the latter 2 countries.

Tennis Federations may have even more freedoms as to which country a player can align themselves with.
e.g. Cameron Norrie was born in Joburg and has lived in NZ and the UK.

It's like collecting international football shirts. :emoticon-0100-smile:emoticon-0105-wink:

Saw an article the other day and 80% of footballers coming through the England age ranks have dual nationality
Gonna make some daft old racists sick
